How do I make a video ad?

Open the app from Apps in your Shopify admin. Click Make video ad next to a product. The video appears under Your videos; when it shows Ready, click Download.

How long does a video take?

Usually a few minutes. You can close the app; the video keeps rendering and is listed when you come back.

Which products can I use?

The app lists your active products. It uses the details in your Shopify admin, so the product does not need to be visible on your storefront and the store can be password-protected. Products with good photos make the best ads; scenes without a usable photo get an AI-generated background.

Do I need an AutoShort account?

No. Everything happens inside Shopify, and billing is on your Shopify invoice.

How many videos can I make?

Every store gets 3 free videos. The Starter plan is $29 every 30 days for 20 videos. Its 7-day free trial includes 3 videos; the 20 monthly videos start when the trial ends. Once the trial videos are used, the app lets you end the trial early and start paying straight away.

How do I cancel?

In the app, scroll to Your plan and click Cancel plan. The plan ends straight away and you go back to the free tier. Uninstalling the app also cancels the plan.

A video failed. Did it use one of my videos?

If our video service refuses the request, the video is not counted. If a video fails after it started rendering, email us and we will restore it.

What data does the app use?

Your product details and photos, to make the ad. See the privacy policy for the full list and how it is deleted.
